What makes you believe in reality?

Provoked by an increase of online human-ness starting to replace physical connection, this piece aims to explore what it means to translate oneself to a digital form. How does an online existence alter identity, memory, and the body in space?

Function vs. Action: In real life, every object has set functions designed for certain actions that restrict the possibility of actions.

Characteristics of NPCs: NPCs have no deep emotions because they do not understand how much output is enough to communicate feelings. They are programmed with limited emotions and actions. They have no sense of timeline, wishes or responsibility.

Autonomy: There is an illusion of humans having autonomy in advanced technology. There are many commands made from binary code available to users but there is a finite number of them - its programming restricts the possibility of actions.

Are we real? Are we living in a simulation world? What if what you see is not what the world actually looks like? Are future events programmed?
